Perspire Sauna Studio’s founders were inspired by the science-backed properties of infrared saunas. They first hand experienced the benefits – from skin purification, relaxation, eased joint/muscle pain – and overall they just felt better after each session. They were shocked to discover there was no easy way to get a sauna session. So, back in 2010 they began their journey of making these benefits convenient and accessible to their Southern California community.
The age-old wellness practices of sauna heat therapy are proven and trusted, for one simple reason — they work. The first saunas built in Africa were developed to rid the body of infectious diseases. The Finnish tradition of sauna use is thought to date back as far as 7000 BC to optimize health on a daily basis. For these ancient cultures, saunas were not a luxury, but a necessity.
Here at Perspire Sauna Studio, we lead with that same belief. It’s no secret that toxins and stress invade our bodies every single day which causes a multitude of health problems both seen and unseen. It’s necessary to remove this from our bodies to optimize health.
