Kebab Nation was founded by a husband-and-wife duo, Tony and Amy, who were inspired to launch their own brand after discovering the popularity of HSPs (Halal Snack Packs) thanks to a recommendation from Cousin Fred. They opened the first Kebab Nation location in Watsonia, a suburb of Melbourne, in 2017. Their vision was clear: establish a national kebab brand that stands apart from the traditional greasy, low-quality image of many kebab outlets. Instead, they aimed to deliver fresh, high-quality food in a clean, welcoming environment that treated customers with respect and authenticity.
From the outset, Kebab Nation set out to redefine how Australians experience kebabs—elevating them from late-night convenience fare to vibrant, flavor-driven meals. The brand focuses on premium cuts of meat, fresh produce, and contemporary presentation, all served in modern, stylish outlets. Their commitment to innovation, exceptional service, and community engagement has quickly positioned them as a standout in Victoria’s casual dining scene.
Looking ahead, Kebab Nation has ambitious growth targets: by 2030, they aim to become Victoria’s leading premium kebab destination with 30 high-performing locations.
