The Mule opened its doors in Hamilton, Ontario, in 2015 as a crowd-funded, gluten-free taco and tequila bar. From the start, it stood out with chef-inspired tacos, creative cocktails, and a welcoming, inclusive setting. The Mule quickly became known for catering to diverse dietary preferences, offering vegetarian, vegan, and entirely gluten-free menus, all while delivering a vibrant bar experience with an emphasis on tequila and bourbon selections.
Over time, The Mule has grown into a beloved late-night eatery and social hub in Hamilton. Open until 2 AM daily, it draws crowds for lunch, dinner, brunch, and weekend DJ nights—making it a go-to spot for both casual meals and energetic evenings out. Its lively atmosphere, inclusive approach, and culinary creativity have defined its reputation and fueled its expansion into new locations, building on the success of the original Hamilton venue.
