I (Rebecca Monet) get excited when I see families coming together to build a business. There was a day and a time when that was normal. Children grew up in the family business, then stepped into leadership roles as parents over time handed over the reins. The adult children in turn bring a fresh perspective, innovative ideas along with vim and vigor to take an established business to the next level.
I always wanted my children to work with me in my business. Didn’t happen. Both of my children are entrepreneurs also, but they have no interest in ‘science’. So seeing Chuck and Paris Goodnight working alongside their daughter Emily Bylund and Paris’ brother brings a smile to my face. Go Goodnight Team!
