Welcome Aboard: Bee Organized
Best friends Kristen Christian and Lisa Foley, who had been organizing enthusiasts since junior high, founded Bee Organized in 2015 in Overland Park, Kansas. After taking careers in corporate roles and subsequent breaks to raise children, they discovered that organization helped bring clarity and peace to their lives. With the desire to help others experience the same transformation, they began offering compassionate, judgment-free organizing services to friends and neighbors—driven by their core values of Compassion, Confidentiality, and being Judgment-Free.
The work received an overwhelmingly positive response—clients often reported that decluttering their space lightened their spirit as much as their home. Recognizing the growing demand, Kristen and Lisa, along with partner Scott Sjoberg, transformed the idea into a franchise model, officially launching franchising in 2017.
Since franchising began in 2017, Bee Organized has expanded rapidly—now operating 45 locations across 22 states as of mid‑2025, with fast‐paced growth including 18 new units in 2024 alone. The headquarters, affectionately referred to as the Main Hive in Overland Park, serves as the operational and training hub, offering guidance, branding tools, launch programs, and marketing support to franchise owners (often called Zee Bees).
Their reputation stems from a deeply relational, community-focused approach: franchisees report a collaborative and supportive environment, strong mentorship from the founders, and high satisfaction with the brand’s integrity and values-driven culture. With a vision goal of 100 franchise units by 2028, the company continues to foster sustainable growth rooted in service, connection, and measurable impact in clients’ lives.
