Today, Ferguson Plarre’s boasts a growing network of more than 85 stores across Victoria. They remain family owned and operated, with the fifth generation of the Plarre family already working in the business.Both the Ferguson & Plarre Families have early European roots and they established themselves in Australia over 110 years ago.
Ferguson Plarre’s may be one of the biggest family-owned and operated bakehouses in Australia but behind the scenes, they are a community of close friends; a collective of cake enthusiasts, savoury lovers, experienced drivers, decorators and creatives, who just want to “bake people happy.”
