About: The Empanada Maker
While spending a few years living in South America as a teenager, The Empanada Maker founder, Cameron Davis, fell in love with the ever-famous empanada. After returning home to the States, he had a lot of fun experimenting with his own empanada recipes, often making them for his friends and family.
Cameron decided to pursue his long-time dream of opening his own restaurant and created The Empanada Maker so that he could share his passion and love for empanadas with everyone. Since 2013, they have served over ONE MILLION empanadas…and they’re just getting started!
The Empanada Maker is a fresh and unique restaurant concept featuring gourmet empanadas, homemade dipping sauces, fresh salads and delicious side dishes. They opened their first restaurant location in Mission Viejo in November of 2013, and they are now celebrating the opening of their newest store in Costa Mesa!
